Children will learn about butterfly life cycles at Mashomack Preserve on May 25.(Credit: Randee Daddona) May is here and Mashomack Preserve trees are leafing, birds are flying and nature is bursting forth. Children ages 4 and up will learn about frogs and butterflies and their life cycles at “After School Nature: Grow As We Go” a program on Wednesday, May 25 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Preserve. The event includes a short hike, a fun craft and a snack too. This program was originally scheduled for May 18. Programs require pre-registration.
